So while you hold the OnePlus 7 Pro it’s a massive phone from OnePlus and we get lots of first thing in the phone so let’s just move ahead and see what all it contains.

Design & Overview

Looking at phone at first glance you will love how great the phone is designed at back we get full glass back that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection. Moving at the right side we get the power button along with a slider with a textured finished. At the top there is a secondary noise cancellation mic and the slot for pop up camera. At left side you get the volume rockers while moving to the bottom you can see the antenna lines for transmission at the left side. Also at the bottom we get the usual USB type C port along with the speaker grill and the Sim tray with the antenna lines. Yups there’s no Headphone jack in this OnePlus too. Now the speaker over here is stereo surround which comes with the DOLBY ATMOS support.

At the front you can see the large display for which we will see in a while and above the display we get the earpiece integrated at the edge. Back of the phone house triple rear camera with dual led flash and the OnePlus logo and branding. The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with the cooling technology which is embedded 10 layered for heat dissipation. The benchmark for this phone is exceptional as it houses SD 855 along with the Oxygen OS which is based on Android 9.0 Pie.

Display

OnePlus 7 Pro comes with 6.67-inch notch-less display having the resolution of 3120*1440 resulting into 516 ppi. OnePlus houses Quad HD+ Fluid AMOLED display for the first time in its series. The refresh rate of the display is 90 Hz also you can see the display is curved from the sides. The display also sports HDR10 content. It also houses second generation in display fingerprint sensor which is faster than the previous generation.

The front and back of the phone is protected by corning Gorilla glass 5 protection and also it can sustain few day to day splashes but it doesn’t get any kind of IP rating.

Core

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Octa-core chip set clocked at 2.84 GHz, Single core, Kryo 485 + 2.42 GHz, Tri core, Kryo 485 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 485 with ADRENO 640. SO far the division of cores is best in SD 855 which can handle multiple different process at same time. It is also coupled with ADRENO 640 GPU for graphics and it looks fluid at first impression.

Camera

Looking at the back the phone looks amazing as it has glass back which houses the triple camera setup that includes primary camera of 48 MP from Sony IMX586 with the aperture of f/1.6 with OIS and EIS, second camera is 8 MP with 3x optical zoom having aperture f/2.4 with OIS and the last camera is of 16 MP with aperture f/2.2 which is a ultra wide camera and can shoot up to 117 degree ultra wide shot.

While at the front we get 16 MP Selfie shooter which holds in the pop-up mechanism and the way it comes out its interestingly fast. Also the pop up camera can hold its original position when it detects a free fall while camera is out and it has been claimed by the company that it has been tested for 300000 times.

Storage

The new oneplus comes with at UFS 3.0 Storage connectivity which is twice as fast as compare to previous generation UFS 3.1. Also we have over here Oneplus 7 pro with 256 GB of storage along with 12 gigs of LPDDRX4 RAM.

Battery and Connectivity

We get the Warp charger that was launched with the limited edition OnePlus 6T McLaren Variant which is rated at 30 watts output, that can provide you approx. 50% of charge in 30 minutes.

The phone comes with Dual Volte support, also its 5-G Edition would be launch soon as SD 855 sports the 5G Network Connectivity.

We get basic connectivity such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and all other things

The battery capacity is upgraded from 3700 mAh to 4000 mAh comparing with the oneplus 6. It takes 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 50 % approximately.
