Redmi K20 Pro

With launch of flagship phones with Snapdragon 855 repeatedly, Xiaomi is expecting to launch the Redmi K20 Pro on 17^th July in India. As it has already been launched in china as Redmi K20 Pro and as Redmi 9T in European Market. So far it has already been active in these markets as they have been launched under the price which is term as honest pricing by Xiaomi.

Recently http://www.flipkart.com and http://www.mi.com hosts the alpha sale for the Redmi K20 pro by which you can book your Redmi K20 pro for just Rs 855 and get the hands on your personal device after the launch.

So Xiaomi has been teasing the Redmi K20 Pro as Killer 2.0 soon after the launch of the Oneplus 7 Pro. The Sub brand  Redmi has successfully covering all the segments in Indian market of the mobile phones starting from lower budget as Redmi Go / Redmi 7A to mid segment with the note series and Selfie centric Y series it is now aiming the premium segment with the Redmi K20 Pro. Also Redmi has done very well with the pricing in the Chinese and the European market.

Now coming back to the launch, teasing and already been launch in the different segment, Redmi K20 Pro is coming finally to INDIA and here what we know so far

Design & Overview

At the front you can see the large display for which we will see in a while and above the display we get the earpiece integrated at the edge . Back of the phone house triple rear camera with dual led flash and the Redmi branding. Redmi K20 Pro comes with custom 8 layered graphite based cooling technology for heat dissipation. The benchmark for this phone is exceptional as it houses SD 855 . The phone also get the pop up camera, which is now the fashion for the full screen notch less display. First time, Redmi has gone with the sim tray without the memory card expansion slot.

The back of the phone also comes with a unique style of design with flame red, glacier blue and carbon fibre. It gives the phone a great look from the back also there is a headphone jack for all the headphone jack lovers.

Display

Redmi K20 pro from the sub brand of xiaomi you get full screen display at front with glass back. The display houses 6.39 inch notch less AMOLED Display with resolution of 1080*2340 pixels with 403 ppi density. The display also houses the in screen fingerprint sensor also the display is expected to have brightness of 600 nits. The screen to body ratio on this device is of 91.9%. The display of the phone comes with corning gorilla glass 6.

Core

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Octa-core chipset clocked at 2.84 GHz, Single core, Kryo 485 + 2.42 GHz, Tri core, Kryo 485 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 485 with ADRENO 640. SO far the division of cores is best in SD 855 which can handle multiple different process at same time. It is also coupled with ADRENO 640 GPU for graphics and it looks fluid at first impression.

Camera

Looking at the back the phone looks amazing as it has glass back which houses the triple camera setup that includes primary camera of 48 MP  with the aperture of  f/1.75 , second camera is 8 MP with f/2.4 that is a telephoto lens and the last camera is of 13 MP with aperture f/2.4 which is a ultra wide camera.

While at the front we get 20 MP Selfie shooter which holds in the pop-up mechanism and the way it comes out its interestingly fast. Also the pop up camera can hold its original position when it detects a free fall while camera is out. The front camera is protected by the Sapphire Glass also the pop up camera has a light effect when it pops out.

Storage

Redmi K20 Pro has the basic variant from 64 GB which can goes upto 256 GB non expandable store with ram variant option available from 6 GB upto 8 GB.

Battery and Connectivity

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi also holds its signature battery capacity to its premium segment that means Redmi K20 pro also holds 4000mAh battery with support of 27W fast charging via USB Type C cable. The charger company would provide with the box will be of 18W which would be sufficient to charge the device.

Also it has got NFC support which might be questionable for Indian markets and that would be confirmed on 17^th July.

We get basic connectivity such as Wi-Fi,Bluetooth,GPS and all other things..
