As we hold the phone, it is a great gradient design introduce by Honor in its Honor 10 Lite.
Design & Overview
Looking at the phone it looks quite great as it has got the gradient finish but while holding it you can feel the plastic at the back. At the right side we get the power button along with volume rockers. At the top there is a secondary noise cancellation mic along with the hybrid sim tray, there is nothing at the left side and at the bottom we get the USB type B port along with the headphone jack, speaker and a microphone.
At the front you can see the dot notch display and above the display we get the earpiece integrated at the edge along with the sensors. At back we get the dual rear camera setup along with AI setup along with the fingerprint sensor placed at ideal location for your index finger to unlock the device. The camera also got the AI camera branding along with the Honor branding at the bottom
Display
Honor 10 Lite comes with 6.21-inch FHD+ IPS LCS display having the resolution of 1080*2340 resulting into 415 PPI. The display itself feels big and has got some great viewing angles
Core
It is powered by Huawei own Hisilicon Kirin 710 clocked at 4 cores at 2.2 GHz with cortex A73 and rest four cores running at 1.7 GHz with cortex A-53 along with Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. Daily day to day usage is manageable with this device.
It has got Honor own EMUI 9.1 based on android pie out of the box. The UI from Honor is quite heavy as compared to the stock OS but it doesn’t let you feel the difference the performance is quite great and snappy. Although you get the regular set of apps or bloatware from the Honor which fortunately cannot be removed. Never the less the EMUI skin looks quite great too as it has been designed.
Camera
It houses dual rear camera setup which has main camera of 13 MP with aperture f/1.8 and a depth sensor of 2 MP with aperture f/2.4. It has video capability up to 1080p at 60 fps.
Coming to the selfie camera, it has 24MP selfie shooter with aperture f/2.0 which also has video rate at 1080p at 30fps.
Storage
It comes in the three storage option one which is of 3GB/32GB on board storage, other of 4GB/64GB variant and another higher variant which has 6GB/64GB option. All of which can be expanded up to 1TB via hybrid sim 2 slot.
Battery and Connectivity
The Honor 10 Lite has got 3400mAh battery along with the proprietary 10W charger. This can last you for the day or day and a half on medium usage. Sadly it has got USB type b port instead of type C port.
